Rations for Travellers. At n meeting of the Sydney Labour Coun oil on Juno 14 referenoe was made to three youths having been convicted at Bathurst for stealing food from a furm-bonse. Mr. Vornon, secretary of tlio Uuited Labourers' Prptective Society, suggested that the couu oil should write to the Chief Secretary, ask ing him to give power to the police authori ties to distribute rations to travellers in search:of omployment.
