Complaints having been made that drivers of vehicles often take short cuts across the foot-   paths to the danger of pedes- trians, the Shire Council at its last meeting decided to take   steps to stop the practice. Law- breakers in the above direction are liable to a fine of £5. "So   beware, have a care." Last Tuesday Mr. Albert Uren lost his bicycle.
