AN INDESCRIBABLE SENSATION. [Newspaper Article] — Albany Advertiser — 5 June 1897

AN INDESCRIBABLE SENSATfOïrâ -.*- j To be easily described a thing must taws clear outlines and unmixed colore. In «Uber words it must be simple. A rent in cne^n-; clothing, a boil on one's body, a tumble wMl» 7 Talking, the shape of a box, &c., are easuyeetg forth in words. On the contrary the ispmphac;' and comprehensive things puzzle the micdatílj ake the meaning from language. v^Sít It was for this reason that Miss «at*r*^ Iîsîtchel', aUuding to an experience of UlnBts&j .eay B :-" At ibis time there came uponinte^^ indescribable Sensation. The Advertiser. SATURDAY, JUNE 5, 1897. [Newspaper Article] — Albany Advertiser — 5 June 1897

%\t %Utxtka. SATURDAY, JUNE 5, 1897. THE Mayor of Albany daring his recent trip to Perth seems to have endeavoured to do what good he could for this town. He saw the ministers about the local works ia prospect and obtained a farther earn of money for the Jubilee. The most important of his acts however had reference to the establishment of a museum here. , He brought this subject ander the attention of the' energetic and enterprising secretary of the B orean of Agriculture and suggested that that body should take the initiative in the movement. The first result of that in terview was the letter received from Mr. - Gowan and read at Tuesday's meeting of the Town Council. This is the first step in the direction of putting the pro ject on a practical basis and we can only, hope that the idea will develop until a well famished museum is established in this town. As we mentioned recently the matter was referred to in the old Legislative Council some years ago by Mr. Gharles Harper bat the...
