Revision of llic Constitution. A proposition a before the Legislature for the taking of another vote on the call of a convention to revise the Constitution of the State. We have on many previous occasions urged the propriety of this movement, and we hope public attention may be sufficiently aroused to make it successful. It is now thirty years since the adoption of the present constitution, and although a much better one than is possessed by some of the older states in the confederacy, it may in our opinion be much improved for the better. Times have changed, and public opinion now demands that the masses should have the utmost possible participation in the government of the country.
