Sometime in the month of February there appeared in the columns of the Omaha Bee an advertisement requesting all honest people to compete for prizes Offered by the Great Western Publishing Co ., of Omaha . The advertisement commenced by saying that any person that would take the word Article and obtain the greatest number of words therefrom would be entitled to $ 3 worth of books at their annual drawing March 15 . But in order to compete for said prizes eaoh person must send twenty-five cents to pay for packing , shipping , eto .
