BULLISH SPED FEELING [Newspaper Article] — Chicago Packer — 20 July 1907
BULLISH SPED FEELING CINCINNATI NOT LOOKING FOR ANY VERY LOW PRICES . It Ia Thought the Market Will Remain Strong Until Northern Stock Comes N In—Homegrown May Have Some Effect . Cincinnati , July 20 . —The impressiton seems to be pretty general among dealers here that potatoes are likely to continue to sell at high prices until early stock from tne northern districts begins moving , which will be well into August . The supply of homegr 6 wn potatoes for early use is generally reported to be light . The Louisville crop is said to be movnng freely and there is little stock left in the Virginia section which is likely to come this far west . Of course , there will be homegrown supplies in a good many districts through the central states , but most reports indicate that at few points will there be much of any surplus above home requirements . Homecrown stock sold nere this week tren erally al $ 2 . 50 to $ 2 . 75 per 3 bushel barrel , while Virginias in small Barrels sold al $ 3 . 40 a...
