The assertion is made that there is mora gold in the sacred vessels, medals, chains, ec., preserved at the Vatican in Rome than in the circulation of the. whole of Europe. " It was reported from Norway that Dr. Nansen intended to conduct an ex pedition to the Antarctic ocean in search of the south pole before return to the Arctic regions. Two years ago, before the Florida trees were killed by frost, the orange crop of that state amounted to between 5,000,000 and 6,000,000 boxes. This year the crop is estimated at only 150,000 boxes.
