THK AUSTRALIAN BALLOT LAW. (Continued.) .Sec. 60. Immediately upon receiving the ballot from the elector, the chairman shall repeat the name and residence distinctly, and shall remove the remain ing half of the stub from the ballot with -out exposing the contents of the ballot or the marks or- crosses thereon, and pass the stab to the second clerk, who shall compare it with its counterpart and observe that the name written on the counterpart corresponds with the- - name given by the person voting.
