Three Hundred Pounds of Dynamite Ued Near Liberty Without Effect. Liberty Tex.- Nov. 24-Your! correspondent today took the thirteen-mile trip from this place up the Trinity River to the bridge of the Beaumont Sour Lake and Western railway. It was found that the efforts which have been made to break the massive drift which has accu- mulated at this bridge have thus far cot proven successful al- though a total of 300 pounds of dynamite have been used in try ing to break up the drifts. For oOu feet above the bridge the driftwood has accumulated and is mere than thirty feet in depth in places. It may be doubted if anything like it has been seen in this section before this.
