A Successful Gathering. The fourth annuil spring show of the local A. & P. Society took place last Friday, and for once the weather clerk was in a friendly mood, the day being one that every interested official iu the society's affairs had wished for, hut in the light of past experiences of drought aud flood tvirdly dared hope would be. It was a brllliautly fine spring day, and Influenced by Old Sol's genial lays practically thu whole of the inhabitants of the district made up their mind to hie away to the show. The attendance was large, and numerous visitors were present from Cobram, Numurkab, Fluley, Berrigan, Jerilderie and surround ing districts. The sate receipts totalled close on j£50, which, mak ing allowance for a large member ship roll, indicates there were bet ween 1500 and 2000 people assem bled on the ground.
