MR. F. DOEPEL'S NEW VESSEL. LAUNCHED AT BELLINGEN. Saturday last was quite a gala day   at Bellingen, and it appeared as if the, whole district had taken a holiday. It had been announced that the new sailing vessel designed and built by Mr. Fred erick Doepel was to be launched and christened, and that a picnic would cele brate the occasion. The launching of a vessel intended for deep sea navigation, was an event which was bound to excite great interest throughout the district, and as it is a rare occurrence people flocked from all parts of the district as well as from the adjoining districts, to see the ceremony. Some curiosity had been aroused also by speculation as to     whether the boat could be safely launched   in such a place, and this lent additional interest to the occasion.
