POLICE OFFICE. FEOt T. B-ro?2 His Worship the Mayor, Captain Fy an, and Wm. Timms, Eq. DR?ne AND IODEnanRLY. Pobert Hwa?'r'h was fined 0to. for being drunk and disorderly the previous day. NoEGLaCT OF DLTT. Henry Croft was called upon to answer the complaint of Mr. Thomas Edols of the firm of Cuoen and Edols, for neglect of duty on the 22nd instant, by refusing to serve in the shop in the usual manner. The defendant urged that the understanding between himself and the firm was, that a week's warning should be given or a woek's wages for feited, which latter penalty he had unde?gone, and that he did not consider himnN!f on Monday last, to be in the employment of the firm any longer.
