Dubing the month of June of this year Katanning was visited by a person who represented himself as manager of what was an alleged co-operative concern,*rah under the style of the " W.A[ FarmersCo-operative Co., Lid." So far as we understand fhe remarks, of the chairman, "this person was to address [a "meetingpf. farmers on the subject of a " Farmers* TJpion." So far" so good. We have advocated and- likewise commended the object. A totally different' aspect was, how ever, placed upon dhe business of the meeting before it erded, and an action, that at one time promised to further the farming interests of the district was, by the [intrigue of the ^person ^before quoted, turned into one of self profit and gain.
