Section winner* were: A: Mr. and Mm K. Waldron; B: £. Miserable and Mn. Nugent; Cs L. Pitman and Mrs. Poole; D: 0. Waldron and Mr. Arnold. Mi. Ik Pitman and Mrs. Poole, re ceiving two pointi and one, played B. Miseamble. and Mn. O. Nugent in the finaL Despite tbe heavy handicap. Bay and Mrs. Nugent soon went to 6-2 and held two match prints at 40-16. At this stage Bay missed a "sitter" on the net and from then on the game swung against them. j Their opponents gradually over hauled the lead, and won a great set at 8-6 to take the final.
