Great Flood—Wise in the Kitcr—AlUghcny Inundated.—I'or some days past, says the Pituburs Journal, the rain has been constant in this section oftl.r- country, and our rivers have been swollen to antinnsual height—hi<r]lcr wc bcijcv,, | mn at period since 1832, and one foot higher than on the S.ith November. We can scarcely doubt that much valuable property has been dcslroyed on the Allc-hcny and Monongahcla. There were, on Sunday, 23 feet ol water in the channel of the Monongahcla. The Allegheny rose very rapidlv%nd on Sunday afternoon the "Island," and all the adjacent porlion or the city, was under water. The river backed watur over tho second lock of the canal ind the cellars on Ann street, and Robinson street, ' 'jelow Craig, were inundated.
