A Colored Boy Breaks the Limbs of a Pair of Twins. ist. Paul, April 6. A dispatch from Hampton, la., says a terrible railroad accident occured about four miles west of this town, on the Milwaukee & St. Paul road, by which at least a dozen persons lost their lives, and from fifteen to twenty were injured. The train which left Chicago at 11:30 yes terday morning and was due here at 2:13 this morning passed here nearly on time, and when about four miles west plunged into a creek, the bridge of which was washed out. The creek was swollen by the immense amount of water which has been running off for the past few days and in addition to this a gorge of ice was formed which previous to the arrival of the train car ried away a portion of the bridge. Miss Mollie .Green, the heroine in a thrilling scene in Ferry county, Tennessee, is an attractive young lady of eighteen and teaches school .on Cypress creek. A shaggy dog, foaming at the mouth and snapping and biting, dashed in at the door and made toward one of the chil dren. The brave little woman sprang between them and the intruder and told them it was a mad-dog. She kicked at the dog, her skirts protecting her, and by the aid of a heavy ruler kept him at bay until all the children had fled.
