The attention of our esteemed contempo rary, the Kansas City Times, is called to the total of the real estate transfers in "Wichita, the day before Christmas. The boys knew thatthe chances for big deals would be slim for yesterday so dipped in on thefr nerve to the tunc of nearly three hundred thousand dollars. There were no big transactions, but a solid column and a quarter of neat little deals from one to ten thousand dollars each. No records were permitted yesterday but one deal of forty thousand and another of eighteen were closed up by two gentlemen who felt par ticularly well after a sumptuous repast on goose. .
