The ship Admiral Cockburn will sail this evening or early in the morning for Port Jack- son, with Mr. Deputy Commissary General   Drennan and family. She has on board a large quantity of salted meat for supply of His Ma- jesty's stores at Sydney, which has lately been prepared at the King's magazine at this place ; and a further supply is expected to be ready to go up by the next opportunity.   An inhabitant in this town has had the good fortune within these few days to re- cover upwards of 270 fine sheep which had been some time ago driven away from his flock at the Coal River ; but we regret to   state, that two other persons have not been so fortunate as the individual before menti- oned ; for on Tuesday last, 300 sheep, be- longing to Mr. James Triffitt, sen. of New NorfoIk, were found dead on his pasture ground at Stony-hut Plains.
