AGICULTUR&L PROSPECTS. We have no doubt that some of the late arrivals are now casting about thlem in deep considera tion as to their future movements. Some of them, no doubt, are desirous of entering upon agricultural pursuits, notin that broad accepts lion of the term which we find necessary to adopt in Queensland, but asit is accepted in England, where the chief attention of tlhesagri culturist is devoted to the production of cereals. Now, to those who have come to this Colony imbued with, and, in a manner, wedded to English notions of .farming, we would strongly recommend atteniion toab district which has tis yet no newspaper to sound its praise or describe its capabilities, and therefore it re mains somewhat of a terra incognita to those who have but lately arrived in the colony- we allude to the town and district of Warwick. It has'already been proved that this district, which is elevated about 2500 teet above ithe level of the coast lands, will produce all the cereals...

Wool--At our auction this day we had the usualgood attendance, but the biddinge were very slack, and only about two-thirds (184 bales) found buyers at prices about the ame as ruledlast week. Among the lota eatalogued were upwards of 200 bales Victoria wool, only a small pamel of which was sold, prices oaefed not coming up to the vendor's valuation (for one lot ofNC, C under, 68 bales, S19td was offered). The principil parcels purchased were-JK, 88 bale Seece wool, at 18d; HMNi, 11 bales at 18?4d ; J, 17 bales lambs at 16d; eover M, 26 bales at I3jd; TB, 22 bales grease at 10d; other parcels of geasy wool at aid and 9d. Sheepskias--Upwards of 8200 skins were oatlogued and sold, at prices about same as last week, 7d per lb. being the highest p ice obtained. .~Talow.--Very. small supply and market dull. A few lots sold at 80s to 84s Gd per cwt. Hides.-Only 371 hides were offered, and there was very little demand for even that small quantity...
