The San Fraucisco Post has just discovered that the issuance of green backs was a mistake, in four or five hundred years it may discover that what it calls a mistake was the effect of a cause. The Beecher-Tilton trials hang fire. It seems next to impossible to get one of the half-dozen cases on trial. One appears to be afraid and the other dare not.
