Our Indian Relations Lone stak so. < From information of a reliable char- acter that we have obtained fro in our frontier country, it seems many of the Indian tribes are at war with each other. Onr dates range from November 10th to the 25th, from Forts Chad bourne and Belknap. There is a continued jealously between the Indiaos ' on the j Reserve and some few of the wild tribes —they look apon those who fraternize ' with the whites, as traitors. This, how- ever, applies to but few tribes There are at the present time some 1600 Indians on the Reservation who are under the complete control of the Government agent.
