THE NEW MAIL. SERVICE^ Til e noiv mail time-tnble from Grafton I to Coff's Harbor, via Coran,ba and. its ; branches isgivingdissatisfiiction through out the whole district affected. It is difficult to understand why the Postal Dophrttiieiit took upon itself- to make an alteration front a time-table which gave general satisfaction, since no complaints were ever made during its operation. Withers the state of tilings existing noiv. Nearly every settler along the roiite feels deeply aggrieved, and the various Progress' Associations in. the different centres up the Orara are circulating petitions for signature, praying for a reversion to the time-table of 1897, which was , in force for many years. When the whole ot the facts are placed before tho postal authorities; the evidence will iie such as' will cause very little .tronblujii determining the' proper course to pursue ; that is, if the mails are regu lated to. -siiit the convenience of- the people ;they serve. .
