A Fall ol' 660 Feet. Wyalong, Saturday.—An inquest on the body of Patrick O'Connell, whu was killed, through falling, down the shaft in the True Blue mine, was held yesterday. From the evidence ad duced. it is surmised that deceased, while under the influence of drink, walked through the doorway of the shaft, which is about 50ft. from the mainrojtd, and was precipitated to the bottom,' a distance of ti60fc. - The body went through the iron gateway 'ovei the wellhole, -snapping the bars oJf like carrots. : Both lugs and' arms were broken. A verdict of accidental death was recorded.

The Missing Bank Manager. Gundagai, Saturday Night.   The body of Mr. McKenzie, the miss- ing bank manager, was recovered by the occupants of the police boat a little before six this evening, between the vehicular and iron bridges. The body was lying in twelve feet of water. There were no marks of violence on   the body. The townspeople are satis- fied that there was no foul play. An inquest will be opened to-morrow. Mr. Mackenzie was 42 years of" age, and left a wife and five children. He had been 25 years in the bank's em- ploy. .All his accounts were found to be perfectly correct.
