Rhodes Scholarship. Dr. Charles C. Harrison , permanent chairman of the Rhodes scholarships committee of the state of Pennsylvania , has received word from the trustees of the will of the late C. 3. Rhodes , that the qualifying examination for the scholarships in the state of Pennsylvania for 1905 will be held in January, 1905. Dr. Harrison announces the appointment of the new committee for Pennsylvania , of which he himself is the permanent chairman , the objec t being to each year change the membership of the committee so that all important educational institutions in Pennsylvania may be represented on it from year to year. The committee for 1905 consists of President Isaac Sharpless, of Haverford college: President John H. Harris , of Bucknell university; President Edward , of Lafayette college, and President Isaac C.
