Hopkins granted n writ of injunction to restrain Archie Parr and other officials of Duval county from interfering in any manner with a complete and thorough audit of the books and records or Duval county. In a statement issued ori July 16, 1914, Judge Hopkins set forth the facts: "1 find that the plaintiffs will not be permitted by the county offioers, through the auditor selected by them, to make an audit of the books of the county, unless the county officers arc compelled to do so by a writ ot mandamuF, and unless the Commissioners' Court is restrained from interference by injunction. He found evidence that the County Collector was in arrears for the years 1910, 1911 and 1912, in the sum of $5,000; that warrants had been issued in a rather extraordinary way during 1913 to the extent of $12,000!
