B.Oliver, of this county, wants to be Circuit Judge and he is going to plead the invalid dodge on the lawyers to try to get there. We are informed that he has already an nounced that on account of a throat affliction he will take no new busi ness in the law practice. It was late in the afternoon of a blas toff hot day and in front of the Times office. Several newspaper wagons stood waiting for their evening load. Attached to one of these wagons was a targe, intelligent-looking gray horse, and hovering ronnd him, alternately teasing and petting him, was a fine specimen of the genus small boy. Presently an ice-wagon, hurrying- by. Jolted against the car tracks and a piece of ice fell to the ground.
