MU. PORUAIAN'S PINU SHOWING. A Very fine sample of millet, grown by M. B. foreman on his nuich three miles west of town, was left at this office this week and is now on display He also left a sample of peanuts and a lucious watermelon, equal to the famous Kocky Kord article. The melon is not on display, for oh vious reasons. Although grown on the dry-farming plan, the sam ples will compare favorably with those grown under ditch. Mr. Foreman claims most of his grow ing stuff is equal to that grown in other sections with irrigation, and says that when the science of dry-farming is better understood, e?ery 160 acres for miles around will be under cultivation and pro ducing, It is not to be understood Unit this laud will produce large crops without labor, but that it will respond liberally to the hand of the energetic farmer without the aid of irrigation. From the samples on display at this office there is little room to doubt the statement. A SATISFACTORY TICKUT. An unusual amount of i...
