Mr. O'Oor man in conducting the now celebrated caso of the city against Wood, lias fre quently referred to tho defendant in terms far from complimentary, but it appears that whatever of insult may have been expressed was uttered in a Pickwickian sense, and Wood and O'Gorman are brothers again Wood's enormous swindle upon the public is thus winked at, and the city must not growl any more.
