The American steamship Pacific, with Liver pool dates to the 31st ult., being three days later than the previous advices, arrived here a lew mi nutes before 9 o'clock this evening. The Royal Mail steamship Africa arrived out on Sunday, carrying out articles contraband of war. TILE WAR NEWS. It is reported that the town of Kafla had been bombarded by the allied fleets and captured. Tho Turks are still in possession of Silistria. The Russians made a desperate attack upon the place, but were repulsed with a severe loss. Naples has oflicially declared her neutrality. The detached forts as llangoe were destroyed by three steam frigates. The Russians lost hea vily. The British had three killed. It was reported that on the 2Gth ult., the fort ress of Silistria had not surrendered. A large number of Turks were encamped near Arta in Greece. Thessaly was still in open revolution.
