Polo Abandoned At a meeting of the Narromino Polo Club held on Saturday- after noon, it was decided to abandon play for this year. Mr. Cahill moved the motion and it was unanimously sup ported. Mr, T. E| Perry (who was in the chair) and Messrs, Kevin Scott, Les and W. Webb, J. Beveridge and E. Cahill, all spoke of the regret they felt at seeing the great winter sport abandoned, but under the (adverse condition, it.was agreed 110 other ac tion could be taken. Many hundreds of people in Jtfarromine and district will regret to hear of the club's de cision, but for this season the inevit able has .to be accepted.
