Death op A Mitiiauis.-The Mudgec Independent snys :-Our reuders will recol lect that n week or two buck we referred to the sudden death of Henry Bussel, at Ooon nmblo, where deceased, having left his break, fast and walked out on the verandah, fell dead almost directly afterwards. A good many reports luw£spraad of the high social position which the deceased had formerly held, but, if what the Gundugai Timr-t asserts is correct, then again is exemplified the pro verb, " Truth is stronger than fiction." $he ^csto (prammott. Vita tine litcrif men at. BLACKALL, WEDNKSDAV, JDNE 30. WHEN tbe jury returned a verdict of not guilty in the case of WILLIAM EABTON, tried at tlic Blackall District Court for abduction, several persons in the body of tbe Court manifested approval by applause. His Honor, from bis scat upon the Bench, appeared also to exhibit some dissatisfaction that the case had been brought into Court, and those to vrliom the prosecution was entrusted looked as if they had done their duty very carelessly and imperfectly. Our opinion of the affair is widely different. Wc count tbe crime on which defendant was arraigned one of the most vicious and treacherous that ...
