A feature of the meeting will be an address by Dr . H . C . Dickinson , chief of the Heat and Power Division in the Bureau of Standards , Washington , D . C . His subject , Recent Changes in . Government Specifications and Their Effect upon Modern Motor Fuels , is one of outstanding importance to those interested in the distribution of petroleum products . The annual report of the company , a centralized purchasing agency dealing in petroleum products for the . 21 affiliated county organizations , will show a volume of business in ecess of one million dollars for the last fiscal year .

RED TOP GROWERS FIRST TO GET AID OF FEDERAL BOARD The red top growers of southeastern Illinois are the first farmers in the state to be granted direct aid by the Federal Farm Board under the Agricultural Marketing Act , announces the Illinois Agricultural Association . Curt Anderson manager of Flora , and John Coin , director of the Egyptian Seed Growers Exchange accompanied by Harrison Fahrnkopf , director of grain marketing for the I . A A . appeared before the Board on September 11 at Washington to request a loan on red top seed supplementing that of the Intermediate Credit Banks . The money will be secured by warehouse receipts issued against the commodity . It will be used to pay red top growers on delivery of their seed . Chairman Legge made it clear that the loan on a per pound basis would be available on all seed handled this year .
