The attorneys for plaintiff and defend ants yesterday morning argued tho case of tho National Bank of Arizona vs. E. B. Kirkland and Charles Slankard, Board of Supervisors of Maricopa county. Tho case has been watched very closely and many were interested in it. Chief Justice Gooding rendered a verdict in the afternoon and as the case is im portant tho verdict is given in full : "My theory is that no statute can bo held to intend to put it beyond tho power of the authorities to keep tho courts open.
