Upon Conditions Easily Accomplished and which will Insure $20000000 Additional Assets to Our People. To the Patriotic Citizens of Texas: All ot Texas recognizes the importance of a creditable representation at the World's Fair and several plans for raising the necessary funds have been tried and abandoned. The organization at Fort Worth failed; Galveston made her fruitless at- tempt to raise the money. The Governor has emphatically declared that appropria- tion by the Legislature would be unconstitutional; therefore vc look for no aid from that quarter. He urges us however to by all means secure this representation by some means adding "The importance of this enterprise should not be underestimated by the people; for in the great struggle for the promotion enlightenment and success of progress and happiness among the masses no State posse...
