CHILD LOST But Found Next Day I L-i&ifri-.i j ~ 300 Search at Wargam begal The 21-months-old 'son of Mr. and Mis. T. J. Brown, ot Waigamhegal, near Lake Cargelligo," strayed from the home' of his parents about 2.30 p.m. on Sunday last. When the child was found; to be missing, a search^ party was organised ,and by night fall, approximately 300. men had as sembled to assist in, the search. They searched all night without success, and early next morning the father went to Euabalong to secure the ser vices of a tracker. However, about 10 o'clock on Mon day. morning^ Mr. E. Troy found the child about four miles from his home. He had walked that remarkable dis tance^ through scrub and undergrowth antl. his legs were severely scratched in doing so. He "was .crying when Mr. Troy found'him; but when picked up by . thati gentleman, the child began to'smile and was quite cheerful. Apart from the scratchings, he was unin jured.
