' Sib, — Having read nnd heard a great deal about tho Wynyard swimming baths n friend and I decided to have a bathe there one day lost week, and we felt quite pleased that the opportunity offered for a real good swim. So later on in the day down we went for our promised swim, when, lo, and behold, thero was tha sand but no water. It is, however, but fair to state that the tido wns low ; yes, very low. I was going to suggest to some of tho people of 'deepwnter (?) iport fame' to get up a petition praying that Govern ment would seo their way clear during next session of Pnrliamcnt to place on tho estimates a suilicient sum of money to erect dressing rooms, etc., at tho '.swimming baths '; but, really, I can't do such a thing now after what I have seen.
