John Johnson, charged by sergeant Maloney with removing night-soil within the prescribed time, and depositing tho same within the town boundary, pleaded guilty, and-.was fined JE5, to be paid within fourteen days, and in default of sufficient effects, to be further dealt' with as the law directs. - PRESENTATION. :; At the usudl Thursday practice of the juvenile Temperance choir, held in Holy Trinity Church on Thursday ; evening last, a'; presentation , was made by tho members to their instructor, the Rev. F. S. Wilson. ' About thirty-five childron wore present, besides a large number of ladies;of the congregation arid Mossrs Vaughn and Single.
