To-morrow at! 4 p.m. the balloting for councillors to fill the vacant positions for Nos.- 1 and 2 divisions of the Maroochy Shire will close, and a count of the votes will be immediately entered upon. The election seems to be passing off very quietl}-, the oilly murmur one can hear is being uttered mostly by those! whose rates are said to be pdid, but have received no vojting papers.
