JAMBEROO CLUB [Newspaper Article] — Kiama Independent — 6 September 1947

JAMBEROO CLUB "For the second time this season Gerringong defeated our first grade team last Saturday by 12 to 5. Our chaps were far from disgraced and as against Kiama, when seemingly having the opposition beaten, were on many occasions unable to go on .and' score. The loss of Ernie Ingold in the early part of the game con tributed largely to the defeat. The club at present is having a very lean period as far as injuries are con cerned. To-day (Saturday) the Firsts meet Shellharbour at Jamberoo, ,and if they are to have Premiership pros pects should have no trobule in win ning this match. The following team has been selec ted:'- . N. Hamilton, T. Graham, K. ,Rob son, R. Swan, O. King, J. Swan, R. King, ,G. Warby, J. Walsh, G. In gold, R. Ingold, P. McGlinchey, '. Irvine, G: Thompson (one to be omitted).
