RICHARDS AND CO'S. NEW DISPLAY. [Newspaper Article] — Creswick Advertiser — 1 May 1914

HICIIAHDS AND CO'S. NEW DISPLAY. The new display by Richards aud (Ja, now open to view, will no doubt he conceded by popular opinion quite up to, i( not surpassing, all previous efforts made by the linn.. The spi cious window has been altered, and now allows ol each picture being dis played to better advantage. The principal subjects arc all shown in colors, the art of which lies in the I delicate and refined enhancement of the artist photographer's work. The life-size head study of a dimming little boy will be sure to command the admiration of all who view it. The curls and happy smiling face are lifelik'!. A lull length draped study nf a young girl in classical costume is also very fine; the texture of the drapery and the lace veil being most realistic. This, together with Ihe skilful poking and the excellent cTect of the worked-in backgiuund, makes up a delightful picture. Another large study of a young jiirl gathering violets in a pretty woodland seem: is also veiy dainty. Notab...
