When the North train was near Islington about foar o'clock this afternoon a jjirl w;ts observed to Hpring frora the window of a second class carriage, failing on a stone embankment alongside the line. When picked up she was'quite dead. The body was fngb'tfolly mangled, and the ska ! smashed to a pnlp. Her name was Slafwl Baftej, and her age 20 yearn. The case is supposed to be one„ of suicide. Little is known of the occurrence locally.
