From infor mation received, it appears that as the coach }.as travelling two niles at the south side of Seymour, the coach driver, in compliance with arequest, placed the reins in the hands of the Judge, m order that he may, as his honor stated, receive a "little instruction, as to hiw they drive in England." LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY. t -o- a Tuesday, 17th April. In the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday, t Mr M'Culloeh brought up the report of the seleoit committee on the supply bill. The report having been read by the Clerk, Mr Grant intimated that the report had been adopted by tke Council, and that they i had discharged the order of the day for the ' second ieading of the Tariff Bill. Mr M'Culloch 'efended the conclusions of the committee; and that an amended tariff C bill may be introduced, he moved that the resolutions of the 21st of February and 11th I April be again read. The motion was rgrecd to, and the resolu tions read by the Clerk. Ani amended tariff bill was then brought up. On the first reading Mr. Mac3Mahon asked if the Chief Seere tary intended to pass the measure through all its stages ? Mr M'Culloch replied in the affirmative.
