General News. Still They Come. — Mr. Huxley, tho lesseo of thoCooma run, near Nnrrabri, lias caught four rabbits on his sta'ion, and several rabbits have been seen in the scrub thoro lately. This is a con siderable distance to tho eastward of what is regarded as the rabbit infested country, und the progress of tho pest is apparently much more rapid than was suppose I. Tho (Jhiof lnspeotor of Stock, in his annual report, states that horses in tlie colony have increased last year by 16.9GG, cattlo by 50,529, and sheep by 1,3-18,398. Last year's total clip of wool exceeded that of 1885 by 5,13S,222 lb.
