The Worst Kind of Sabotage The first load of new wheat came In Saturday of last week, and tested 61 pounds. It was brought In by farmer "Peg" Doyle, and was a very firm hard wheat It was purchased by Nelson- Grain Company, at 61 cents bushel. Besides receiving 61 cents per bushel, Mr. Doyle received a ten dollar bill as a bonus for being the first farmer to deliver wheat at Claude. While a great deal of wheat was blown out, there is going to be more wheat threshed than is being anticipated by most of our business men. Where wheat is making, It will rang from 8 to 18 bushels per acre and the quality is said to be very good. NUMMB «L % m Car Turns Turtle Five Claudeites Are Badly Hurt A very serious car accident oc- cured on the small culvert be- tween the section house and Good- night last Saturday about seven o'clock, when a Plymouth road- ster, with jump seat, turned over, injuring all of the five occupants of the car. Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Sanders and Mrs. Amy Hogg Barnett, were riding in the front seat and Mr. and Mrs. "Nig" Henson occupied the jump seat. As they passed over a small culvert the driver lost controle of the car, it going to one side of the road and back on the other and turned a turtle.
