Af H I DenlwHI, Texas, Dec. 28—At Inter vals the supply of con whisky hiy beeu 'leaking oat of Okla heaps into Denlson, and officers have not been able in every case to catch the men who are transporting the liquid. Last Saturday late Deputy Bob Hembree heard that a wagon from Oklahoma bad tied up for the night at Cawpaw hill, and thai two men were with the wagon. Thinking that something might be picking up, Hembree went out to make an investigation. A search was made of the wagon after the men had beeu questioned, bit no whisky was found. But Hembree watt not satisfied and continued the search In the vicinity of the canfp. Out a little way was a small amount of hay scattered loosely on the ground. This was investigated and underneath it was found fruit jars containing eight gallons of old corn. "Well, I'll declare, we did not know that was here," said one of the ...
