Smith was in town this morning from Winchell ami brought with him a lot of the eel- bratel Post pecans trrown by Mr. Smith on the H. B. Freeman place on the Colorado river. Mr. Smith disposed of the perans at a hand- some price and found that if he had had more he could have got- ten a better price. The Post pe- can is very large and has found 'its way into most of the markets of the world. A great many people have been here to sec the tree and have secured buddings. In a number of instances choice selec- tions of this variety of pecans have brought fancy prices. In one instance a grower paid for a dozen of them and in many in- stances they have brought a dollar a pound.
