SERIOUS BUGGY ACCIDENT. (FROM THE "AGE")     Yackandandah, Monday. A serious buggy accident occurred on Sunday aftenoon. James M'Intosh, miner, took his wife and family out for a drive. The horse was a young one, and had only lately been broken into harness. M'Intosh proceeded up the Beechworth road, and had got as far as Wooragee, when he met two men driv- ing a bullock, at which the horse shied, upsetting the buggy into the ditch, and throwing all the occupants out. A   little boy, 5 years old, was thrown be- low the horse and seriously hurt; Dr. Muller was at once sent for, and on his arrival found that a piece was knocked entirely out of' the child's skull, and that the brains were visible. Dr. Mul- ler immediately had the boy sent to the Ovens district hospital, Beechworth. The doctor thinks that, although the injuries are most serious, it is possible the child may recover. There is no limitation to good. It pene trates all spheres, and pervades all domin ions. Its power and its principles are simply diffusive. It is permetive and In. vasive, with peace for its mission and healing on its wings. Not only is Schnapps a staple article of trade in the United States, but it has a large sale, and enjoys a high reputa tion in South America, Mlexico, China, Cuba, and other countries. Like the principle of good it has some embodiment:everywhere. Pedestrianism is rapidly becoming an American hobby, that, like all of its crochets, will be ridden to death. It is, however, absorbing publicle attention and exciting scientific interest by developing tihe force of muscular power, and demonstratingR the scope of human, physical endurance.
