Fergusson,This was an action of tro-   ver to recover the value of certain articles and of a farm at the Black brush stated to have been surreptitiously ob- tained by the defendant, while the plaintiff was drunk. The case was conducted by the Solicitor General and Mr Pil- cairn in firma pauperis, Verdict for the defendant.     CRIMINAL COURT, SATURDAY. W. Hobbell and B Scott were tried for receiving a waist- coat which had been stolen from James Wilkinson.
