In tlio House of Representatives on Thursday the lender of the Liboral Opposition (Mr Gook) urged that the Commonwealth Government should hasten to send moro men from Australia to fight for the Empire in Europe. He said that our contribution to the forces lighting for fcho empire was not proportionately as great as he would like to see. If wo sent men as Great Britain was sending them we should have 200,000 men in the field. Ho did not say that wo should contribute as many as that, though ho believed that wo should do so if they proved to. bo needed. (Hear, hear).
