THE PSALM OF LIFE. [Newspaper Article] — The Campbelltown Herald — 15 June 1898

THE PSALM OF LIFE. Tell me not in mournful numbers, Adveitising loes not piy ; For the man's non compos mentis Who would such absurd things say. Life is r. al ! Life is earnest ! And the man who hopes to rise To success in any calling M nut expect to advertise. In the world's broad field of battle, In the conflict of real life, Advertising is thn secret Of achievement in the strife. Lives of rich men all remind u», We can make our heart sublime, And by liheml advertising To the highest summit climb. The constant drop of watr r Wears away the hardest stone The constant gnaw of Towser Alasticates the tougheBt hone The constant coring lover Carries off the blu»hing rnai . And the constant advertiser Is the one who gets the rade. . Next visit to Sydney we strongly recom mend the reader not to fail seeing the Cyclo rama of Jerusalem. 8 p.m. is the best time to attend, as there has recently been added a number of most beautiful visions of angels, apd aerial and mechanical effects.
